The Trent Group was founded in 2016 with a clear objective, to deliver more than a century of international port terminal experience to a global clientele, anywhere in the world. Launched by global port specialists who have each served some of the largest global port operators in the world today, the Trent Group has evolved to bring the best global standards, solutions and practices to quality-orientated port owners and decision-makers. We believe everyone should enjoy the benefits and insights of our international experience, working with complementary partners who support our mission and values.

A team of port professionals, with extensive international experience across multiple continents and countries. With Line Manager and Director experience at both the terminal, and corporate headquarters, we have helped grow companies, whilst implementing port industry first standards across multiple disciplines and cultures.

Our Leadership Team
Jon Arnup
Founder CEO
A Singapore based, seasoned executive with over 32 years’ port industry experience, in various Senior Management and Director roles, working for 3 large global port operators, P&O ports, Hutchison Port Holdings and DP World. A Senior team member in DP World active in developing and growing a terminal portfolio from 5 to 66 ports worldwide over an 8 year period.
Created, led and implemented the industry’s largest ever ISO55000 compliant Asset Management program to African, Americas, Asian and European continents. Lived and worked in seven (7) countries on four (4) continents and visited more than 49 ports worldwide during the course of business.
Eddie Atichian
Chief Operating Officer
Over 40 years of international port terminal experience, working for some of the world’s leading global port operators such as P&O and DP World.
Lived and worked in a variety of terminals around the world, including general cargo and bulk terminals in the early years. Extensive experience both at line manager and corporate roles.
Felix Cheung
Chief Technical Officer
Over 20 years of international port terminal experience, working for some of the world’s leading global port operators such as CSX Terminals and DP World. Lived and worked at a number of ports within the Asia region, including both line management and regional roles.
